Our savings management company, specialized in real estate investment funds, has achieved considerable success with its first closed real estate fund for institutional investors only. Its investment activities began on 10 December 2001 with a subscribed capital equal to 105,000,000 euros.

With a 6.5% minimum profit target, the Michelangelo Fund, thanks to its diversified portfolio and the prior identification of buildings rented to top level lessees, achieved an increase in share value of +86.83% between December 2001 and December 2008.
The Michelangelo Fund shares have been subscribed by institutional investors. Following the excellent results obtained, in 2003 Sorgente SGR set up the Caravaggio Real Estate Investment Fund which was also addressed to private investors. Placement closed on 22 December 2003. The initial unit value of a single share is 2,500 euros and the total subscribed capital is 120,560,000 euros. The minimum target performance is set at 7%. The Fund has been listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since 16 May 2005.
Another Sorgente Fund is the Donatello reserved for institutional investors. It is a multi-compartment closed real estate investment fund and the total value of all the compartments amounts to 550 million euros.

The Tulipano Compartment began its activity in March 2008, whilst in the previous six months of the year the Giacinto, Margherita and Narciso Compartments were established.

During 2008 four further Compartments, Puglia 1, Iris, Puglia 2 and David were established with a total capital equal to €/mln 400, which were authorized by the Bank of Italy in March 2009.
